Networking Tips

Just a few tips to help you get the most out of your next networking opportunity.

1. Have a business card.  If you’re a brand new affiliate, you may think it’s silly to have business cards, when you haven’t really gotten your business going yet.  But, it’s a simple, inexpensive way to demonstrate that you are serious about your affiliate business.  Plus, it’s a lot easier to hand a new contact a card than to have to write down your contact info for them.

2. Take notes.  Even if you have a great memory, if you attend an event and network with more than a couple of people, you may find it hard to remember each conversation.  A few quick notes can help you recall the person and conversation when you get back to your office and want to follow-up.

3. Follow through.  If you met someone at an event or got a great idea or suggestion, do something with it when you get back to work.  To be successful, you need to take action.  All the greatest contacts or money-making ideas in the world won’t help you earn a dime, if you don’t actually act on them.

I think, to be a good affiliate marketer is the hardest thing to do as a blogger, you must have huge traffic to get the possible buyer and also you have to build your own audience, because honestly i’ve never made a single sale with my first blog
