Team Chaos Looks for Next Challenge

Ask people in the professional sports community what they think about Team Chaos, and you are sure to get a wide range of thoughtful responses. “The best sports team of all time… 3 time Champions… true dominators on the ice and on the field…”

But, who is Team Chaos, really? This is a question that the team has been asking itself following three consecutive championships on the ice and a strong 2nd place finish in the famed Westminster Co-ed Recreational Softball League. After all of this success, this team of the ages is looking for a new challenge.

With that in mind, everyone at Team Chaos headquarters has been focused on finding that next challenge. After researching a wide variety of sports, competitions, and contests over the past few months, the team has come up with some intriguing possibilities.

While it isn’t a team competition, the organization is considering sending someone out to New York next summer to take on previous champions Joey Chestnut and Kobayashi at the International Hot Dog Eating Contest. “If this contest involved carrot cake, I have no doubt we have several team members who would take the championship with ease,” said Steve Richter, General Manager of Team Chaos. “However, I am confident that we can find someone who could more than hold their own in the contest and bring home the coveted Mustard Yellow Championship Belt for our trophy case.”

The emerging sport of team Chessboxing is also under serious consideration, with Joe Lochi as likely team captain. “Joe’s use of the famous Fianchetto maneuver in combination with the Sicilian Dragon attack is legendary among members of the Media Breakaway Chess Club,” said Shane Graper. “He also watches a lot of ultimate fighting videos, so I think he is the perfect choice to lead our Chessboxing team to victory.”

Team Chaos superfan Jenny Frederick has spent the last two years lobbying for the team to enter the ultra competitive realm of professional kickball. “The game requires tremendous mental acuity and physical coordination,” said Frederick. “To the casual observers it may seem like it is just about kicking a ball. But, there are so many more nuances to the sport. Like running to the base…catching the ball…did I mention kicking the ball? I could go on for hours.”

While Team Chaos has yet to decide on its next sports endeavor, it is safe to assume that championships are sure to follow. Stay tuned to your weekly Affiliate Newsletter for more information on what’s next for Team Chaos!
