Team Chaos Wins the Semi-Final!
Team Chaos vs Hockey Gods (4-2)!
In their third meeting of the season the Chaos met the Hockey Gods last night in the semifinal game of the playoffs. Having lost to the Hockey Gods in their first two meetings the Chaos knew that this game could be the turning point in their run towards the championship game.
With goals from Vince Wood, Jackie Spresser, Lou DiFulvio, & Steve Kilberg the Chaos defeated the Hockey Gods 4-2, this win propels the Chaos into the championship game.
The first two periods of the game were slow starting for the Chaos but not without incident. Star Defensemen and league scoring leader Scott Richter was hit in the mouth with a puck early in the first period, which cut him near the mouth.
Goalie Luke Hogan once again made key saves which kept the Chaos in the game until they could begin their barrage of scoring in the third period.
The fervor and excitement that has been mounting this season will meet its pinnacle in the championship game next week which will be played Thursday August 24 at 8:30 which coincidentally takes place during this year’s CPAEmpire Breakaway!
